I just saw the news, where else, come across my RSS feed, that Om Malik has passed away. There are very few bloggers, reporters, and consummate insiders in Silicon Valley. On all those fronts, Om was an OG. His posts, reports, and photography were among a few constants on my RSS feed for more than two decades. His unfiltered views on things were always worth a read. He will be missed.
